2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using commercialtradesjobs.co.uk (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3. Employer terms

By posting a job listing, you agree that:

• You are authorised to recruit for the role advertised.
• The vacancy is genuine and relates to commercial hard FM or related trades.
• All information in the listing is accurate and not misleading.
• You will handle candidate data in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection law.
• You will not use candidate data for any purpose other than assessing their application for the advertised role.
• Listings are non-refundable once payment has been processed, except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms or that we deem inappropriate, without refund.

4. Job seeker terms

By submitting an application, you agree that:

• All information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
• Your CV and application may be forwarded to the employer who posted the vacancy.
• You will not submit applications for roles you are not genuinely interested in or qualified for.
• You will not upload any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.

5. Payments

Job listing fees are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. All payments are non-refundable unless required by law. Launch-tier free listings are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Post fictitious, duplicate, or misleading job listings.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Site.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Use the Site to transmit spam or unsolicited communications.
• Engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the Site's operation.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by or licensed to SGLA Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent. User-submitted content (job listings, CVs) remains the property of the submitting party.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee:

• That job listings are accurate, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• That the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Any specific outcome from applying to or posting a job.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SGLA Ltd's liability for any claim arising from use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant listing (if any). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and links do not constitute endorsement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
